What is JACA
Introduction
Japan Air Cleaning Association (JACA) was founded in 1963 with the aim of contributing to technical improvement in industry of aircleaning, to diffusion of its knowledge and to betterment of environmental sanitation. In 1966 JACA obtained authorization from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare to make a start as a public corporation. Since then JACA have conducted various research activities, in cooperation with experts, makers and traders concerned with industry of aircleaning.
Outline of the activities
*Publishing a periodical “Journal of Japan Air Cleaning Association”
*Holding lectures and meetings for the study of air cleaning and cleanroom
*Organizing and holding technical committees (to make standards, guidelines and manuals)
*Making researches which are consigned from government offices
*Giving performance tests (air filter, quantity of dust emissions)
*Making tours for research
*Sending inspection parties overseas
*Selling JIS test powder

Historical record
1963.10. “Japan Air Cleaning Association” was founded.
1964.3. The first issue of “Journal of Air Cleaning Association” was published.
1966.4. JACA obtained authorization from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
1982.1. The first Technological Meeting on Air Cleaning and Contamination Control was held.
1991.4. The 25th anniversary of establishment was celebrated.
2012.4 JACA was certified as a public interest incorporated association.
