We call for papers for the 42nd Annual Technical Meeting on Air Cleaning and Contamination Control, as set forth below. The meeting offers opportunities not only to present research results but also to exchange information and develop relations. We hope that many people will present papers at this event.

This meeting will be held only face-to-face. Remote participation via the internet will not be allowed.

Note 1) Participants who are not members of JACA can receive our journals for one year without any fee.

Note 2) When applying for attendance, specify the organization you belong to. Even if you notify us that you are actually a member of the cooperative organizations, etc. after applying as a non-member, we cannot refund a balance.
5.Reception Party
Date: April 22 (Tuesday), 2025 (after presentations on Day 1)
Venue: Okuma Garden House
Fee: 5,000 yen (including the consumption tax)
*Special members, chairpersons, and presenters (excluding co-authors) are able to attend the reception party for free.
6.Program and Proceedings
The program will be published on our website later. The printed copies of the program will be also distributed at the reception of the meeting. The proceedings will be distributed in electronic format by email. (The printed copies of the proceedings will not be handed out.)
7.Application for Attendance
We are going to start accepting applications for attendance around March, 2025. Please see our website for how to apply for attending the meeting.

3.Application Method
Fill out the application form, and send it by e-mail, fax or mail. You may also apply via the online application form.
The title of the paper should be given in English.

5.Classification of the Paper
In the relevant fields of the application form, put the code or number corresponding to the field, target, and category of the paper. When you select more than one choice, circle the primary one for clarification.

6.Acceptance or Rejection of the Paper
The Technical Committee will decide whether to accept or reject the paper and notify the applicant of the decision. Also, the Technical Committee will decide which session will feature which paper and the order in which papers will be presented.
7.Format of the Paper
The paper should consist of two to four pages of A4-size paper and submitted as a PDF or Word file. The accepted languages are Japanese and English only. Note that figures and tables should be in English only.
8.Full Paper Deadline
February 14 (Friday), 2025 (strictly enforced)
9.Presentation Method
The presentation should be conducted using an overhead projector connected to a PC. The PC should be prepared by the presenter.
The presentation may be conducted in Japanese or English. Presentation materials should be created with Microsoft PowerPoint or other similar application software.
The overhead projectors prepared at the venue can be connected through D-sub and HDMI terminals. The presenter should bring a conversion connector if their PC does not have those terminals.
10.Notice
(1) The contents of the paper will be reviewed. If the paper is regarded as too commercial or deviated from technical issues, it will be basically rejected. Correction would be requested if the title or text of the paper contains product names, etc.
(2) Photographing and audio/ video recording during presentations are basically prohibited. When those acts are confirmed, people who are involved in the acts would be requested to leave the venue. A presenter who wants to record their own presentation is advised to get permission in advance at the reception of the meeting and wear an armband lent by the executive committee when recording.
11.Chairperson Award, Incentive Award and Technical Award To Be Presented at the Technical Meeting
The winners of these awards will be picked based on the presented papers according to our internal rules.
12.Other Notice
The presentation time is scheduled to be 15 minutes. After each presentation, 5 minutes are given for a question and answer session.
